Located on a peninsula, Julington-Durbin Creek Preserve offers visitors the ability to see a variety of natural communities, as well as Florida wildlife, including bald eagles! Floodplain swamp and marsh run alongside the shores; floodplain wetlands help support both the creek and our beautiful St. Johns River. You may be able to spot wildlife, inclduing ospreys, gopher tortoises, bobcats, and deer. Manatees have also been spotted during certain seasons.
