Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, FL offers visitors opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, paddling, and camping. Those who enjoy a nice walk, run or bike will find short nature trails (3/4 mile) and a mile long bike loop around the park. If you have a freshwater fishing permit, you can cast your reel on the fishing pier in DeBary Creek. Near the fishing pier, you will find the canoe/kayak launch if you are looking to explore the creek, Mullet Lake, and Lake Monroe by water. Primitive tent camp sites can be reserved for a small fee from Volusia County, and include a fire ring, picnic table, lantern-hook pole, grill and groomed sand. Many native plants and animals can be observed around the park, and visitors are asked to always respect the "locals." Kids will enjoy the park's playground. Furry family members can run around in the dog park, though they must be leashed at all times elsewhere in the park. Swimming is not currently permitted in the springs.
