If you want to immerse yourself in nature in Volusia County, Florida, you'll want to visit Lake Beresford Park. There are two natural trails on the northern side of the park that hikers and birders will enjoy. Two playgrounds at the park make this a great spot for families. There is also a paved, 1.8-mile multi-use trail that follows the perimeter of the park. This trail connects to the Spring-to-Spring Trail, which allows patrons to walk, run, skate or bike three miles down to Blue Spring State Park, a popular spot to view manatees in the winter months.
