Take your hiking boots to discover the scrubby flatwoods, wet flatwoods, depression marshes and cypress domes of Palm Bluff Conservation Area along Deep Creek. This conservation area protects more than 2 miles of Deep Creek, a large tributary of the St. Johns River that meets the river just downstream of Lake Harney in Volusia County. Trail loops here range from 1 to 6.1 miles, so there are options for everyone! Group primitive camping is available near the entrance to the trail.
