14 miles of hiking and 17 miles of horseback riding await you at Rock Springs Run State Reserve! Located where the previous small town of Ethel stood, Rock Springs Run State Reserve is full of history, and a visit to the Reserve promises adventure. Guests can choose specific trails to fit their desired hike length. While hiking, biking, or horseback riding, guests will also have the opportunity to see Florida wildlife in their natural habitat. Experience habitats such as pine flatwoods and swamps while on the trails! Guided tours of the trails are available. Campsites are accesible by canoe, and must be reserved through Wekiwa Springs State Park. It is important to note that there is no swimming or access to the Wekiva River from the Reserve. On a number of weekends betwen September-January, hunting is also permitted. Pets are permitted and restroom facilities are available.
