Walk, run or bike while you take in the waterfront view from the Sanford RiverWalk in Sanford, FL. This multi-use trail, when completed, will span nearly five miles around Lake Monroe. Fish along the shoreline, reflect at Veterans Memorial Park, bring the kids to play at Fort Mellon Park, take a boat tour with St. Johns Rivership Co., and walk to nearby shops and restaurants. The final segment of the RiverWalk is currently under construction, and will connect to the 210-mile Florida Coast-to-Coast (C2C) trail, from St. Petersburg to the Space Coast. The Sanford RiverWalk also will complete the 26-mile loop around Lake Monroe made up of many beautiful scenic roads and trails.
