Explore Silver Springs in one of the park's famous glass bottom boats and experience the water in a whole new way! Silver Springs attracts a significant amount of visitors, and for good reason: its crystal clear waters are fascinating. Silver Springs has a camping area and cabins for those wishing to stay overnight in this central Florida paradise. There are a variety of trails, including Creek Trail and Sandhill Trail. Visitors can participate in activities such as horseback riding, bicycling, and paddling. The Pioneer Village is located in the park, and provides visitors with a glimpse into the 19th century. History buffs can visit the Silver River Museum and Environmental Education Center, also located in the park, to learn about Marion County and more Florida history. Pets are permitted, except on glass bottom boats and in buildings.
